Established in 2014, Pimp My Salad is stepping up to meet this increasing demand and establishing itself as a market leader in this segment. Their plant-based, gluten-free products, made from high quality ingredients, have made healthy eating both enjoyable and simple for customers across the nation and overseas.

When science and product design come together.

The founders, Olga Plotnikova and Alex Komarov, have a strong foundation in science. Olga, holding a PhD in medical biology and with a decade-long career in cancer research, recognizes the vital role a nutritious diet plays in disease prevention. Meanwhile, Alex, a trained physicist and digital product expert, brings a wealth of product design experience to the table.

To execute their plans they turned to Equity Crowdfunding, and partnered with Glide Agency to help them achieve their raise.

Using social ads on Facebook, we built an equity crowdfunding campaign that targeted investors in Western Australia initially, before expanding to the East Coast.

By going all out with the advertising spend in the early stages of the Expression of Interest (EOI) phase, we were able to create an early push that optimised the campaign quickly and kept the Cost per Acquisition (CPA) low, allowing us to generate over 3,200 Expressions of Interest before the offer was even launched.

The campaign was a resounding success in many ways, aside from reaching their investment goal.

This EOI phase is where you begin gathering interest from potential investors, warming them up to your idea and value, and getting them ready to make a decision when the time comes to invest.

The success of every raise conducted through equities relies heavily on the work done in this first few weeks. More often than not it’s these EOI’s who commit the largest amounts to the raise, and in some cases may even help you secure maximum limits without ever needing to open up to the public.
